3. Where do you take arrested persons?: Arrested Adults are taken to the Wilbarger County Jail located on Hwy. 70 in Vernon. Juveniles, ages 16 and under, are taken to a designated Juvenile Detention and Interrogations location. These locations are the Vernon Police Department and/or the Wilbarger County Courthouse.
